HR Relationships (for ORP) (1).png

Leigh has been many things to me since I first met her some twenty-odd years ago—my boss, my mentor, my therapist—but most importantly has evolved into a very loving, strong, and loyal friend. During my time working for Leigh, I started off pretty devoid of any time management skills; however, being able to learn from her and seeing her in action, I grew so much and became fondly known as her right arm and left lung. I am in awe of this woman and what she has achieved in her lifetime, in awe of her business acumen, of the strength of her bond with her children, and just really feel honoured to be in her life and to have her in mine. Leigh has talked about this book for many years, and I am so proud of her—it took a while but once she puts her mind to something she will research, educate herself, do whatever is necessary until she reaches her goals, and again this is why I am in awe of her.

— Suzanna Stutz, Leigh's former HR officer, colleague, and friend.

Leigh is a dedicated and experienced HR professional who specialises in business strategy when addressing the HR aspects of a company. I was fortunate enough to work with Leigh whilst entering my first people management role. Leigh dedicated a significant amount of her time to mentor me in all areas of the human resources field from interpreting modern awards to the Fair Work Act to the importance of successful recruitment practices, performance management, and setting appropriate internal KPIs. Leigh's mentoring provided me with the appropriate skills that enabled me to set my team up for success and also encouraged and supported me in developing my own consistent leadership style. Leigh is easy to work with and has a strong desire and is committed to assisting others to succeed.

Leigh is always fun to be around with never a dull moment. Very strong-willed and will stick up for you when you get into trouble. She is very inspirational and switched on. She way my best coach and mentor who gave me higher confidence in myself.

— Phill.
